Biography

Daniella is an award winning cinematographer. She has shot narrative features and television in four continents and speaks five languages. In 2020 she became the first woman to win an Ophir (Israeli Oscar) for Cinematography. Daniella's notable works include Asia (Israel, 2020), a mother daughter drama that won nine Israeli Oscars and also the cinematography awards at the Jerusalem and Tribeca Film Festivals. Watch List (USA/Philippines, 2019) a political thriller which was nominated for Best Cinematography at the the Gawad Urian (Filipino Film Critics) and the FAMAs (Filipino Oscars). Normal (Israel, 2020), an eight part drama created by Asaf Korman and Lior Dayan which premiered at Series Mania and aired on HBO Max. And Live Cargo (USA/Bahamas, 2017) an art house thriller which premiered at the Tribeca US Narrative Competition and received accolades for the cinematography in Indiewire, the Los Angeles and New York Times. Variety named Live Cargo "one of the most evocatively shot debut films in recent memory". Daniella recently wrapped filming in Colombia on the 10-part WWII thriller Carthago (Israel, 2021), created by Reshef Levi. She lives mostly out of a suitcase with her incredibly supportive husband and toddler.
