Actor Pablo Castelblanco was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. He moved to the United States by himself at only 17 to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. He lived in New York City where he attended a conservatory of the performing arts and subsequently moved to LA to receive his bachelor's degree in fine arts. As a student he excelled, he starred in several of his college productions and graduated with honors. Having recently graduated, Castelblanco has made a mark of his own in Hollywood. TV credits include Gabriel Martin in ABC's "Alaska Daily" from Academy Award® winner Tom McCarthy, alongside Academy Award winner Hilary Swank, Jeff Perry and Matt Malloy; top-of-show guest star in HBO's "Room 104" alongside Mark Duplass, Logan Miller and Hari Nef; and in FOX's "Scream Queens" starring beside Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Lea Michelle, Billie Lourd and Emma Robins. Co-star credits include FOX's "New Girl," along with Jake Johnson and Zooey Deschanel, and Netflix's "Dear White People." Film credits include "Ganymede" from SXSW alums Sam Probst & Colby Holt, where Castelblanco starred in a leading role alongside Jordan Doww, Robyn Lively, Joe Crest and David Koechner. His feature film debut was in the movie "Solver" by Empire Productions. He also starred in the short-film "Admission" (LASFF Selection), directed by Juan Pablo Di Pace. Some of his theater credits include Pepe in the Ovation-nominated play "My Mañana Comes" (Fountain Theatre). He was nominated as Best Cast in a Play for the stage alliance Ovation Awards in 2016's "Sálvese Quien Pueda" (DECA Theatre/ Colombia). Since 2017, Castelblanco has participates in a staged reading of "The Diary of Anna Frank" in collaboration with the Broad Stage (in Santa Monica, California) and the Santa Monica Repetory Theater. Castelblanco is a co-founder of the theater group The Puckwit Gang. Having participated as both creator and performer in award-winning productions such as "Chimpskin" (2017, WINNER – ShoWorks Don't Wait. Create! Award. WINNER – Tip Your 2Cents Award for Distinctive Voices.), "The Dangerous Cures of Dr. B" (2018, WINNER Steve Kent Award for social and political theatre), "And In Conclusion" (2019 Nominee: Steve Kent Award for social and political theatre Award, Best Drama at Robbie Awards). In 2020, their play "The Dangerous Cures of Dr. B" was selected to participate in the Son of Semele 2020 Company Creation Festival.
